VMI provides various levels of Digital Radiography training. We offer classes every other month at our facility in Pensacola, Florida and onsite classes at your location. The goal of our courses is to provide a complete overview from early digital x-ray evolution to current CR technique development. VMI training not only covers the basics, but also allows for hands on interaction with CR systems. Students expose, process and acquire live images to promote equipment familiarization. Each student workings from his/her own personal workstation with continual monitoring by the training staff. Questions are encouraged as we cover topics ranging from basic digital terminology and application to specific software usage.
Classes are offered in 24 and 40 hour formats. The 24 hour class provides a basic overview of digital radiography, with a strong emphasis on Computed Radiography (phosphor storage imaging technology) including applications and the Starrview software. The 40 hour course covers all aspects of digital imaging. Onsite classes can be customized to fill your specific needs. All courses have been developed by ASNT Level III’s and follow SNT-TC-1a and CP-189 formats. For more information please contact us.
